Yes! YNW Melly is alive. According to a Distractify report, YNW Melly has been accused of killing his friends and other singers Anthony Williams (YNW Sakchasr) and Christopher Thomas Jr. (YNW Juvy).

In court documents in the YNW Melly case, the South Florida rapper attempted to beat his mother, as per the prosecution witness.
The following the Sunday (June 26) the court documents from the statement of Detective Danny Polo on the morning of April 11 in 2022 where he was questioned whether he believed YNW Melly was part of an group, were released to the public.
Polo who searched Melly’s cell phone, claims in an affidavit sworn to by XXL that the information that he uncovered proves that the rapper’s involvement in many crimes which include ordering a hit against his wife, Jamie King.
The attorney for Melly, Stuart Adelstein, asked Polo, “Has, in your opinion, Melly authorized any communication for the commission of a crime?”
Polo responded, “Yes. If you take a look at his cell phone, you’ll see narcotics trade and gun-related violations that permit the murder by his wife. These are the kinds of things you’d consider to be “authorizing. ‘”
It was a YNW Melly and his mother also responded to the accusations via Instagram shortly after the news of the documents circulated on the internet.
A post posted by the Melly’s Instagram Story shows an emoji of a mother feeding her baby and a heart with the words “Lies. False Agenda. Innocent.”
The mother of YNW Melly’s Instagram account also seemed to criticize the court’s findings.
“This is pure desperation,” she posted in Instagram Story. Instagram Story, which included an baseball cap and tears laughing Emojis.
In the days before the deposition in April 2004, a clip appeared on the internet of YNW Melly declaring his mother “crazy as fuck,” declaring she was lying about the manager’s alleged involvement in taking money.
YNW Melly is facing a capital case for the murders of 20 year-old Chris Thomas (YNW Juvy) and 21-year-old Anthony Williams (YNW Sakchaser).
According to authorities, Melly killed two of his ex-colleagues in cold blood, and then made up a story about them being killed in a car-by-way along with Henry Cortlen, aka YNW Bortlen.
Bortlen drove the victims the hospital in the area, saying that gunmen were not identified and shot the victims. In February of this year, Melly and Bortlen were arrested and charged of the murders.
Melly has entered a not-guilty plea in the month of March and continues to plead guilty. If found guilty the defendant is liable to execution.
