The PE-owned firm Insight Partners invested $290M for an ownership stake of a majority in CivicPlus, which offers software and other technologies to over four thousand municipal authorities. The Manhattan company’s software manager claims that a multimillion-dollar investment in CivicPlus will not alter the structure of the business.
